Finding your way around this site can be a bit overwhelming at first. Read through the help tips here and then take some time to click on links and explore what is available. An important thing to note before you get started is that all text in the burgandy color is a clickable link. As you move your mouse over the gray words to the left and on the tabs, you will notice they become highlighted with light blue. Highlights alert you to the fact that these words are links, too.
Q: How do I find who I am looking for?
A: There are a number of ways, but the search function on the top of each page provides the most straight forward method.
You might also want to try looking at the Surnames function located to the left of each page if you don't have a clear picture of who you're looking for.
Clicking "Surnames" brings you to a list of all surnames in the database. Click on the first letter of the last name, or check the list of Top 30 Surnames to see if yours is there. Click the surname to see the list of all individuals with that name. Locate the one you want and click the name. This brings you to the Individual Page for that person. Details of birth, marriage, death as well as family members and sources are on this page.
